Travel and stay connected, even on board!
With the paid service Wi-fi, available on board Grimaldi Lines ships, you can connect to the Internet and surf inside the ship: in the common areas, in the corridors and also from your cabin.
To use the service, you need to choose one of the available internet packages from EASY, DIGITAL, DIGITALPLUS.
You can buy your Wi-Fi package before departure by purchasing the service through the Seafy website (available here), through the Grimaldi Lines sales channels together with the travel ticket, or directly on board.
The wi-fi code is valid for 12 hours from the first activation, without possibility of suspension.
On board the ships Cruise Barcelona, Cruise Roma, Cruise Bonaria, Cruise Sardegna, Cruise Europa and Cruise Ausonia, vouchers have a traffic limit (Easy 1GB, Digital 2GB, DigitalPlus 4GB).
HOW TO PURCHASE IT?
- Before departure, you can purchase your Wi-Fi package on the Seafy website, available here, choosing the type of package, or directly through the following Grimaldi Lines sales channels together with the travel ticket:
– on the Grimaldi Lines website www.grimaldi-lines.com
– by contacting the call center on 081496444 or by sending an email to [email protected]
– at the port ticket offices
– at the Grimaldi Tours offices - Once on board, you can purchase your Wi-Fi package directly on the Seafy onboard portal available here, which can only be used on board connected to the SEAFY network.

HOW TO ACTIVATE IT?
Once you have purchased a Wi-fi package you can proceed with activation to be able to surf online. Activation is done on the dedicated Wi-fi portal on board the ship. Follow these simple steps to connect:
- Once aboard the ship, turn on airplane mode
- Start the Wi-fi network search and connect to Seafy’s network.
- At this point the shipboard portal will automatically open, alternatively you can open a web page and enter the following url: https://portal.seafy.com
- From the last slide of the portal click on the button “I already have a Wi-fi code” and you will be able to access the homepage of the portal where you will find all the information related to the Grimaldi Lines world. To activate your Wi-fi package directly, enter the specific page “Activate Wi-fi”.
Activation can take place in different ways:
- if you have purchased your Wi-fi package on board and/or have with you the print-out of the package purchased on the site, you will have a code accompanied by a QR code. On the appropriate Wi-Fi activation page you can either manually enter the code or, if you are using a mobile device you can scan the QR code and be connected after a few seconds.
- if you purchased directly from the onboard portal, you will find in the “My Purchases” section, the details of the package with the possibility to download the PDF and directly activate your connection by pressing the “Activate Wi-Fi” button. Again, you will have a QR code available.
Each code is unique and can be used on only one device at a time: therefore, if the Wi-Fi packages are intended for several people traveling with you, you will need to provide a different code for each of them.
A wi-fi pack can be connected on one device at a time; it cannot be used simultaneously on two or more devices at the same time. To use the wi-fi pack on another device, the code must be disconnected from the first device on the portal page, re-entered and connected on the second device.
Wi-Fi can be slower at sea than land-based connectivity. Geographic location, weather conditions, and the number of users using the system can affect connection speed. Connection speed may not be suitable for some applications, particularly those involving real-time or near real-time use of high bandwidth.
Wi-Fi service is available on board some ships. You can check its availability directly on board the ship or at the quote stage by selecting the route of your trip. Seafy Wi-Fi service is not available on board KYDON PALACE ship. (line Brindisi – Corfù – Igoumenitsa and viceversa)
Terms and conditions of use of Wi-Fi packages purchased with Grimaldi
The following terms and conditions refer to purchases of Wi-Fi packages made through Grimaldi Lines sales channels.
Once activated via the code, the Wi-Fi package cannot be used again. The Wi-Fi package purchased is valid for 12 hours from the first activation without the possibility of suspension and can be used within two years from the time of purchase.
In the event of ticket modification, departure cancellation and re-routing on a subsequent departure or failure to use the service for the segment purchased, the Wi-Fi package can be used subsequently, up to the aforementioned expiry date. In case of cancellation and/or departure cancellation, the customer has the right to a full refund of the amount of the Wi-Fi package. It is possible to cancel the Wi-Fi service up to the day of departure and request a refund. These requests must be sent to the Company at the email address [email protected].
Any requests for assistance relating to purchases of Wi-Fi packages made through Grimaldi Lines sales channels must be sent to [email protected]. For purchases made on the Seafy website and on-board portal, contact the Seafy customer service at [email protected]
In the event of malfunctioning of the service on board, the customer can request a refund by contacting the Seafy assistance service via e-mail at the following address: [email protected]
